MAY 2005 NEWSLETTER

Hello everyone,

I hope that you are healthy and energized this month. It seems that the weather has broken and it is finally starting to warm up. I have many patients who are dealing with outdoor allergies. It is important that if you have allergies you watch the pollen count on the news to get a sense of how the high the count is and how it is affecting you. Pollen is not something you can control but there are factors you can control like diet and supplements that really make your life more tolerable during this high season. I would be happy to support you, just call the office.

Fruit Smoothie Recipe

ImageThis smoothie recipe was a surprising hit with the students in my smoothie-making class. This was by far the favorite, so I thought I would share it with all of you. Skeptical? Try it you will be surprized how good it really is!

1 teaspoon honey
1 banana, frozen, then broken into 3 pieces
1/2 cup frozen mango pieces

In a blender whip together avocado and rice milk. Add honey, banana and mango. Whip another 10 seconds or until smooth. Add peach nectar and mix 5 seconds.

Summer is coming and people want to lose weight

I have several patients who are on detox plans currently. Some patients are doing detox programs for severe medical conditions while others are doing detoxification plans just to increase their energy and vitality. What I have found, is that all of my patients report weight loss. If you want support in creating a different body image for yourself call and find out what a plan like this can do for you.

New Classes for the fall

I am putting together a schedule of classes for the fall since I have use of a conference room in the new space. Please send any of your ideas regarding classes you would like me to teach. I am really interested in teaching the health classes to support and empower you with your health goals. If you come up with a fantastic idea or introduce several people who are interested in a subject I'm teaching, you could get a scholarship to take the class for free. I really want to support great ideas.

Please remember to share the gift of health with the ones you love. Send this email to anyone who you think will enjoy it. It helps me to support health and wellness in the community.

In Health,

Dr. Daemon Jones
